If you knew everyone’s story, you would love them.

“If you knew everyone’s story, you would love them. You can’t really hate anyone if you know everything that happened to them between their birth and now; why they became the way they became; why they have walls up or down. If you truly know someone, you’d get it.”-Emma Stone

I have been saying for a long time now that my life would make a New York Times Best Seller. I’ve known for a long time, that I have lived the kind of horrors and beauty that people like to read about and I have postponed writing my life down for a long time for fear of judgement and for fear of the people that might be hurt by my truths coming to light. This blog post is a place holder. This is me writing down my commitment to myself to put my story on paper (or in digital format).

This post will serve as a chronological table of contents of sorts, it will be a timeline and as I write down the various chapters of my life and post them online, I will post them in here and fill in the gaps as I go along. I cannot write my story in a linear fashion, but I will try and organize it that way after the fact as  much as I can.

“You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.”― Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life
